A Note From the Principal

A Fantastic Start to the School Year! ❤️
What a fantastic first three days of school! We have had an incredible start, and our students have been even better! I am so proud of how our Wildcats have shown up, learned our routines, and embraced the beginning of this exciting year. We cannot wait to watch them grow academically, socially, and personally throughout the year!
I have received several questions about schedule changes, so please know that requests will be accepted this week only through our counselor. Students may pick up a Schedule Change Form in the front office and must return it no later than Friday, August 21. Please keep in mind that submitting a request does not guarantee that a schedule change will be made.
We are also looking forward to partnering with our families this year! If you are interested in volunteering or supporting our campus in any way, please take a moment to complete our Volunteer Interest Form here. We will be hosting a volunteer meeting very soon and would love to have you join us!
Thank you for trusting us with your children. We are so excited for what this year holds and cannot wait to see our students continue to grow, learn, and thrive! 🌱❤️

Student Onboarding & Important Dates

Parents, this is the Onboarding Slideshow that we shared with all students this week to help ensure they understand our campus and district expectations. During our first week, we provided gentle reminders and opportunities for students to learn and adjust to our expectations. Moving forward, we will be fully implementing all expectations. Thank you for partnering with us as we work to create a safe, respectful, and successful learning environment for all students! Please also make note of the important dates posted here. They are subject to change.

Open House at Coleman Campus

🏫 Coleman Campus Open House! 🎉

We are excited to welcome our Wildcats and their families to Open House on Thursday, August 27, from 5:30–7:00 PM!

Come meet your student’s teachers, visit their classrooms, and get a glimpse of all the exciting learning, activities, and opportunities happening here at Coleman! 🐾

We can’t wait to see you and kick off an amazing school year together! Go Wildcats! 🐾

Child Nutrition

All students are offered a free breakfast and lunch.

Menus can be viewed by downloading the free SchoolCafe app from your device's app store or by visiting the Splendora ISD SchoolCafe Menus website. By setting up an account on SchoolCafe, you can make payments or set up automatic payments to your student's account, view what your student has purchased, and view menus in a daily, weekly, or monthly format. The website and app will also let you view the calories in each menu item and "Make a Tray" to show the meal's total calories.

From the Nurse

The Physician's Request for Medication Administration and the Physician's Statement for Food Allergy forms must be completed each school year.

The following forms are available for download and completion.

A student must be fully immunized against certain diseases or must present a certificate or statement that, for medical reasons or reasons of conscience, including a religious belief, the student will not be immunized. For exemptions based on reasons of conscience, only official forms issued by the Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS), Immunization Branch, can be honored by the district. This form may be obtained by writing the DSHS Immunization Branch (MC 1946), P.O. Box 149347, Austin, Texas 78714-9347; or online at Texas Immunization Exemptions. The form must be notarized and submitted to the principal or school nurse within 90 days of notarization. If the parent is seeking an exemption for more than one student in the family, a separate form must be provided for each student. The form is valid for two years from the date of notarization.

Transportation Registration

To ensure accurate bus routing for the 2026-2027 school year, all families must complete a transportation registration form for each student in their household.

Splendora ISD utilizes Infofinder-i to help families determine their child's school of residence and locate the nearest bus stop. You can search your address in Infofinder-

Student Handbook and Code of Conduct

The Student Handbook and Code of Conduct are available on the Student Services website

The 2026–2027 handbook will be released in August 2026 to reflect new local policies of Splendora ISD.

New this year:
Students at the Coleman 6th-Grade Campus, Splendora Junior High, and Splendora High School may bring and use personal bottles in classrooms and other areas outside of the cafeteria only if the bottle is a clear, plastic container. Glass bottles are not permitted. Bottles must contain WATER only. No other beverages are permitted.

Attendance Matters

Every school day counts! Being at school every day gives students the opportunity to learn, grow, build relationships, and stay on track for success. When students miss school, they can miss important instruction and experiences that are difficult to make up.

Growth happens one day at a time! #RootedInGrowth

From educator grants and classroom resources to student programs and special experiences, the Foundation works throughout the year to provide opportunities that go beyond the regular district budget.

We’re excited for another great year of supporting Splendora ISD—and we can’t wait to show you what your Education Foundation is making possible!
